Transforming Lives Through Creating Connection

Individual, Couples, and Family Counseling

Hi, I’m Ethan

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Divine Mercy University. My training and experience focus on trauma, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy.

I believe people are naturally inclined to grow and thrive. Emotions are not just things to manage; they are strengths we can use to live well. I value each client’s story and creating a safe space to share it. I draw on attachment-based ideas, which say people heal best in secure, connected relationships—neither fully dependent nor completely independent, but interdependent.

I work with depression, anxiety, acute/chronic/complex trauma, and relationship distress. I treat individuals of all ages, as well as couples and families.

Credentials and training:

  • Certified Clinical Traumatologist

  • Level 1 and 2 Emotion-Focused Family Therapy

  • Core skills in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy

Outside of work, I enjoy video games, skateboarding, and running. I’m a dedicated marathon runner aiming to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

There Is Always Hope. Come Find It Again

My Approach

My approach is rooted in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Person-Centered care. I believe healing begins when you feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Together, we slow things down to make sense of your emotions—especially the ones that feel overwhelming, confusing, or hard to put into words.

Rather than fixing or directing, I walk alongside you, sometimes using guided imagery or somatic processing (i.e. identifying where that feeling occurs in your body), helping you reconnect with your inner strengths and build safer, more meaningful relationships with yourself and others. Therapy is a space to feel, reflect, and grow—at your pace—so you can rediscover hope and move forward with greater clarity and connection.

  • If you’re carrying the impact of trauma, feeling stuck in depression or anxiety, or struggling in your relationships, you’re not alone. I work with people of all ages, with a special focus on teens and adults, helping them rediscover hope and a sense of connection in their lives.

  • My role is to hear your story in the way you need it to be heard. You can expect a space where you set the pace, and together we gently explore what has brought you to therapy. As we begin to understand the challenges you’re facing, we’ll also talk about your hopes—what you long to feel, experience, or change. As trust grows, so does clarity. You’ll begin to gain deeper insight into your needs, patterns, and strengths. From there, we identify meaningful, practical steps toward the life and relationships you want. And through it all, I walk alongside you—supporting, guiding, and encouraging you as you move toward those goals.
